Dating Coaching Testimonial – I Met The Man Of My Dreams

“I have a lot to thank Glow Coaching, one thank you is not enough. I had made some pretty bad decisions throughout the whole of my twenties which had resulted in 3 failed relationships, the last one ending in divorce. I could not understand why I was choosing the wrong men and my confidence was at an all time low. I undertook dating coaching to gain an understanding on why I had made the decisions I had made and hopefully to learn not to make the same ones again. Coaching sessions made me understand that my main problem was my lack of confidence…I believed that I should be grateful that any man liked me. This resulted in me always settling for the first man that showed any interest. From the coaching sessions I began to realise that I have a lot to offer, my confidence grew, I started to evaluate my decision making and questioned things I would normally just accept. I am glad to say that 6 months down the line and not only have I met the man of my dreams, I am happier than I have ever been in myself. Thank you Liz.”
Emma 31, Herts (Emma has within 18 months of meeting married the man of her dreams)

Relationship Coaching Testimonial -Coaching saved my relationship

“I would definitely recommend coaching, it has helped me so much, the results were almost instant. I was having insecurities in my relationship, mainly jealousy which was causing a lot of arguments with my partner, at one point I thought he was going to leave me. So I had the coaching sessions and the coach made me realise that a lot of it was to do with low confidence and low self esteem, so we worked on improving my self confidence and now I feel a lot happier and no longer have jealousy, and me and my partner are getting on well with no arguments.”
Becky 26, Herts( Becky is now engaged)

Coaching is a partnership in which the coach helps the client achieve the things they want and get results more quickly than they would on their own.  Why Have a Dating or Relationship Coach? At Glow Coaching I have coached many women in or looking for relationships. Areas I work on are overcoming breakups, letting go of negative relationship experiences, building confidence, understanding what you are looking for in a relationship and how to find it. Here are some success stories, one client through coming to terms with a short and unhappy marriage ending, how to learn form this and understand she decisions she made that caused her to end up in this situation. With 2 years she now is now very happily married  to the man of her dreams. I coached another client on overcoming jealousy and building her confidence as she was certain her boyfriend would leave her should she not change her behaviours, they are now engaged. I worked with another client on overcoming a difficult and destructive relationship where her fiancé was lying and cheating on her and was making her feel like she was going mad. Through coaching she came to terms with this, enjoyed a period of being single and dating lots of guys and has now had a lovely boyfriend for nearly a year. So far every client I have coached has gone on to improve there dating and find long-term happy relationships.

Today I have made a vision board, i have written and drawn many goals before but thought it would be nice to create a vision board. What i have discovered through making it is that finding love and having a happy stable relationship, with a nice house and holidays and activities took up half the board and the other things i want eg, having fun with friends, career, shoes, learning etc took up the other half. this shows me that finding love is very important to me.

Also the other thing about love i have realised is that i want it all around me, I already have a lot of love around me but I am hoping to attract  more. I want a career i love, i am definitely getting there and positions to love bit shallow i know but i like having nice things, friends to love, a dog to love, love of learning for progression of my career and to help others, adventures, and to love myself. The more love i surround myself with the more i will attract!

so come on love i am ready and waiting and trying to attract you!

make your own vision board! here is how they work!

This is a matter of making a poster full of images and words that symbolize what you want in life.  I found a great post in Christine Kane’s blog called “How to Make a Vision Board.”  She says:

“A vision board (also called a Treasure Map or a Visual Explorer or Creativity Collage) is typically a poster board on which you paste or collage images that you’ve torn out from various magazines. It’s simple.

The idea behind this is that when you surround yourself with images of who you want to become, what you want to have, where you want to live, or where you want to vacation, your life changes to match those images and those desires.”

here is how to do it!

The Five Steps of Creating a Vision Board:

Step 1: Go through your magazines and tear the images from them. No gluing yet! Just let yourself have lots of fun looking through magazines and pulling out pictures or words or headlines that strike your fancy. Have fun with it. Make a big pile of images and phrases and words.

Step 2: Go through the images and begin to lay your favorites on the board. Eliminate any images that no longer feel right. This step is where your intuition comes in. As you lay the pictures on the board, you’ll get a sense how the board should be laid out. For instance, you might assign a theme to each corner of the board. Health, Job, Spirituality, Relationships, for instance. Or it may just be that the images want to go all over the place. Or you might want to fold the board into a book that tells a story. At

Step 3: Glue everything onto the board. Add writing if you want. You can paint on it, or write words with markers.

Step 4: (optional, but powerful) Leave space in the very center of the vision board for a fantastic photo of yourself where you look radiant and happy. Paste yourself in the center of your board.

Step 5: Hang your vision board in a place where you will see it often.

Three Types of Vision Boards:

1 – The “I Know Exactly What I Want” Vision Board

Do this vision board if:

– You’re very clear about your desires.
– You want to change your environment or surroundings.
– There is a specific thing you want to manifest in your life. (i.e. a new home, or starting a business.)

How to create this vision board:

With your clear desire in mind, set out looking for the exact pictures which portray your vision. If you want a house by the water, then get out the Dwell magazine and start there. If you want to start your own business, find images that capture that idea for you. If you want to learn guitar, then find that picture. Following the five steps above, create your vision board out of these images.

2 – The “Opening and Allowing” Vision Board

Do this vision board if:

– You’re not sure what exactly you want
– You’ve been in a period of depression or grief
– You have a vision of what you want, but are uncertain about it in some way.
– You know you want change but don’t know how it’s possible.

How to create this vision board:

Go through each magazine. Tear out images that delight you. Don’t ask why. Just keep going through the magazines. If it’s a picture of a teddy bear that makes you smile, then pull it out. If it’s a cottage in a misty countryside, then rip it out. Just have fun and be open to whatever calls to you. Then, as you go through Step 2 above, hold that same openness, but ask yourself what this picture might mean. What is it telling you about you? Does it mean you need to take more naps? Does it mean you want to get a dog, or stop hanging out with a particular person who drains you? Most likely you’ll know the answer. If you don’t, but you still love the image, then put it on your vision board anyway. It will have an answer for you soon enough. The Opening and Allowing Vision Board can be a powerful guide for you. I like it better than the first model because sometimes our egos think they know what we want, and lots of times those desires aren’t in alignment with who we really are. This goes deeper than just getting what you want. It can speak to you and teach you a little bit about yourself and your passion.

Some things to remember about vision boards:

– You can use a combination of all three types of vision boards as you create. Sometimes you might start out doing one kind, and then your intuition takes over and shifts into a whole different mode. That’s called creativity. Just roll with it.

– Your vision board might change as you are making it. I was just talking with a friend of mine who said that she had been making a vision board for the new year. The theme was all about what she wanted in this year. Then, as she pulled pictures and began to lay them out, the theme changed into a simpler one about her everyday life and the moments in each day. It surprised and delighted her to experience that evolution. You might find that you have little epiphanies from making a vision board.

keep you posted on what happens!

I’d Pick More Daisies

If I had my life to live over, I’d try to make more mistakes next time.  I would relax.  I would limber up.  I would be sillier than I have been on this trip.  I would be crazier.  I would be less hygienic.  I would take more chances.  I would take more trips.  I would climb more mountains, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets….I would eat more ice-creams and less beans. I would have more actual troubles and fewer imaginary ones…Oh, I have had my moments and, if I had to do it all over again, I’d have more of them.  In fact I’d try to have nothing else.  Just moments, one after another, instead of living so many years ahead of each day….If I had my life to live over, I would start bare-footed earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall.  I would play hooky more.  I wouldn’t make such good grades except by accident.  I would ride on more merry-go-rounds.  I’d pick more daisies.

I have been having a feeling about glow coaching that something didn’t feel quite right! I took some advise from a wise friend and fellow coach and she said listen to your body! So i did, and it made me realise that perhaps i was on a bit of the wrong track with Glow coaching  specialising in dating coaching and the most important thing I like to work on is CONFIDENCE coaching so I have decided to concentrate on confidence coaching obviously  many women need confidence for dating and relationships. But confidence coaching in general can help so many people. I had been already coaching people on confidence buisling for over 2 years, why is it we can often miss the blindingly obvious thing right in front of us!

Also I am working on building links with community groups on confidence coaching workshops and classes so I can deliver confidence building to many more people !

Now i have  listened to the voice/ feeling I feel much happier and less stressed. In coaching we call it congruence, it is important to remember to coach yourself as well as everyone else!!

Once there was a little girl she was about 5 or 6, and something happened to upset her very much she can’t remember really what it was or when it happened  but what she felt a great deal of PAIN, this PAIN was so PAINFULL she berried it deep down insider her in a place she rarely went to.

As she grew up she was so frightened of feeling this PAIN she developed lots of actions and thoughts to prevent her from feeling the PAIN. She covered it up with years and years of stuff , she forgot what caused it but she did know what ever it was it was terrible and was so frightened to think about it she left it in that place deep inside. This was the way she lived her life it was ok most of the time but every now and then she could feel the cause of the PAIN trying to get out. Sometimes things would happen or she would do something that reminded her of the thing that caused the PAIN and she got freighted of feeling the PAIN so she stopped her self doing that thing. She didn’t really know what she was so scared of but she knew it was bloody scary.

One day the girl decided she wanted to help people learn about themselves, she had been trying to learn about herself for years and work herself out. She thought she had done a pretty good job with self help books and taking to friends etc. But sometimes she thought perhaps the thing that caused the PAIN was still there. Then she stopped thinking about and carried on going about her business.

When she was on her training course she met an excellent coach called Jo, they decided to do an exercise on FEAR, the girl had a good, long, hard think about her biggest FEAR.  She remembered that place she rarely went to and took a look. My biggest FEAR “is that I am not worthy” she said admitting this made her very upset, she had a good cry,  like she used to as a child, this was the PAIN that was trapped in side, finally it was out. She decided when she was 5 or 6 she was not worthy and lived her life according to this belief about herself.  She tried to remember why she thought this, she could remember things that happened when she was little and perhaps how she could have made this belief this about herself.

Now she is grown up 32 in fact, and getting the PAIN was not at all as bad as she was thought it might be. She could deal with it now. She had thought it would feel just as bad as it did when she was little so never dared visit that place when the PAIN lurked. She said, hang on a minute; I know I am worthy, I don’t have to live my life by these beliefs I decided when I was little. Things became clear and she felt relived, really, really relived. Jo helped her come up with lots of new thoughts and behaviours to replace the ones caused by the thing causing the PAIN, now the lurking, scary PAIN was gone she was FREE! She felt much better about herself, felt happier and saw things in a new light.

The girl trained to be a coach, she set up Glow Coaching so she can help other people find the cause of the thing that causes them, PAIN or FEAR or HURT or DISSATISFACTION so they too can be free and happier.  And it works
